It's ironic that:
Jefferson Hospital has recently built a huge parking garage, bringing hundreds more cars daily-each dumping loads of carcinogens into the air.
Their shuttles create a point-source pollution hazard for their staff and patients, as well as a noisy, shabby corridor for visitors to the hospital and passerby.
It's now illegal to idle.
PPA -- start ticketing!

If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please contact the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.
All other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report it to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)
