The city have to install the new streetlight located in front of 2552 W. Silver Street. The house located at 2552 W. Silver Street is abandoned. It's been abandoned for 3 years. The main roof is in bad shape and the rear wall is in danger of collapse. It have to be demolished.

This property is already listed under Licenses and Inspections for the violations regarding the deteriorated walls and roof. This house was declared structurally unsafe as of 9/14/10. If the violations on this property are not complied with, the case will be sent to equity court.
As for the street light, we can enter tickets for bulb replacements and repairs on the street lights, but due to the budget, new installations have been halted. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. Thank you. (mb)
