The lot at 17th between Montrose & Carpenter is not only growing tall weeds, it's also starting to become a spot for dumping. Under the trees was never completely cleared of junk for the house the was demolished, and now others are starting dump closer to the street

A lot of bugs and mosquitos are hovering around the weeds/trash.

There is also a homeless man posted up in the weeds! People are dumping all sorts of trash, including furniture. The weeds are so high, it is pretty much a jungle!! And yes, it is causing a huge problem with mosquitos...

The pile of large discarded items continues to grow....

Happy to report that someone came and piled up all the trash into one central pile and took care of the out of control weeds. The pile pictured above disappeared this week. once that large single pile is collected, we can close this issue.
