Streets Department Vehicle # 995043 Idling- temperature fine outside (no need for any heat or AC) Smelly and Expensive Diesel Wasted- Two or three workers in vehicle. Beginning to understand the crazy tax increases we are seeing, especially if these folks were on the clock, waiting for work, while burning taxpayer diesel.

Did you mention anything to the crew?
During the Broad Street Run on Sunday I saw a city trash truck idling - it was a clean up truck waiting to start the clean up after the run. I thought the same thing, so I asked the driver why he was idling. He didn't really have an answer so I explained to him that it was needless and illegal and he shut his engine off.
