Descrizione

This lot is under chronic disrepair and has a number of issues which effect the neighborhood. The rear yard overgrowth effects the shared utility lines for the houses on Catharine and Webster Streets, including telephone services. The overgrowth is trimmed by neighbors, but the problem cannot be solved without pulling out the roots of growth on the property (which cannot be done by neighbors without trespassing).

This yard is worse than ever. The overgrown roots are deteriorating the housing foundation, as can be seen by the fallen rear awning and the bowing rear wall. Animals have now been seen entering and exiting through the rear, no persons living in house, broken/boarded up windows front and back, affecting neighbors properties due to overgrowth and animals.

This property remains a problem for the entire neighborhood. While the neighbors have gotten together to remediate the rear yard overgrowth, the house remains ready to fall apart at anytime. The front wall is visibly cracked and bowing. The rear wall has holes in it that permit animals to enter and exit at will. The rodents that are very likely nesting in the home are causing issues for the entire block and the city has repeatedly ignored it because someone is paying the annual property taxes (likely out a trust or estate). Paying taxes does not alone make a responsible neighbor.
