This is a great idea. With some regularity we get speeders doing a quick side show at the intersection then race down the street at unchecked speeds with no regard for any traffic controls.

Agreed, i live on shasta near the front entrance to the elementary school and vehicles travel upwards of 40 mph. speed bumps need to be on shasta and Nebraska.

The City's Traffic Calming Program is about to be restarted, it had been unfunded for the past 8-9 years. We are completed an update of the program and are just about ready to roll it out.

Nebraska St residents have requested traffic calming in the past and will be contacted once the program begins (estimated to be early April.)

Thank you for the update back in March 2021. Any current updates on this situation. School is back in session and cars continue to speed down Nebraska and a child is going to get hit.
