Off duty CMPD and other city/state vehicles constantly use the Bus Lane on Independence Blvd as their own traffic bypass. While I've witnessed this at all hours of the day, It happens most often during the am/pm rush hours. For example, Today there were 5 that passed me while I sat in traffic. No lights, no sirens, no hurry to be anywhere. They were just driving to and from work like the rest of us. Please look into this.
