That's SO much for everyone for BLOWING THIS WIDE OPEN and ruining ANY chances of us finally getting a sign. NO! SPEEDERS ARE NOT THE MAIN PROBLEM. It's been mentioned time and time again here on seeclickfix that the laws here say you can't put up a stopsign to slow traffic, but thanks to the uninformed making it on TV yesterday, we'll never have the potential accidents resolved. As the above poster showed, it's not speeding that's the issue, it's the blind corner that causes MANY MANY accidents for those trying to exit washington ave.
Thanks, folks, now we'll never see this fixed.

The issues it not the speeders up the road. It is/was the gate with the creeping foliage on it that was obstructing views down the street. Now that this has been removed, it's been a marked improvement.
I agree, though, that this issue needs to STAY resolved, and the home owner needs to be responsible for keeping this obstruction down.

The gate, so you claim, had ZERO to do with it, since the overgrowth WAS NOT ON THE SIDE THAT FACES THE CORNER. There never was, nor will be any fence growth on that side. The fact is simple. It's an old road, with a bad canter on the corner. You can not see around the large house on the way up or down. And it's quite difficult to see anyone pulling out of washington ave if you're going up culvert street.
Again, the foliage was *NEVER* on that side of the fence. It was on the far side, on washington ave, well before the corner. This was far from the cause of the issues.
