There’s an abandoned blue van at the corner of Hanns Ln and Illinois St. It’s parked out away from the curb into the street and has been there over three weeks. It has current tags - CA 7GYX766, lots of junk in it and a window down. Reports have been made online, by phone and in person to patrol officers by multiple people on multiple occasions. So far nothing, not tagged nor towed. Now with the rain it will begin to rot even more.

Hi, Christina. Thank you so much for replying to the reported issue, it is very much appreciated.
The vehicle in question has been reported multiple times by multiple people on multiple occasions in every way you have mentioned in your reply to the initial posting, as well as some not suggested by you. It was also reported in person to VPD officers on patrol in the neighborhood, so I do believe all the bases have been covered, T’s crossed and I’s dotted so this issue could be adequately dealt with and resolved in an efficient and timely manner. Unfortunately, it is now going on 4 weeks without any action being taken whatsoever in regards to the reported issue and the vehicle in question still remains sitting out into the street and deteriorating further.
So, with all do respect, I would rather this issue remain open and I encourage further open and transparent dialog with you regarding it. Being that you are a Community Services Section representative and a Verified Official for the See Click Fix of Vallejo online community forum, you most certainly have more authority than I or the many others affected by this issue. One could only imagine that you must welcome the opportunity and be willing to assist in trying to rectify this problem for the many community members affected and whom undoubtedly rely upon you for your expertise and knowledge in sometimes complicated public affairs matters.
Thanks so much again for your reply, time, and concern and I look forward to your assistance in getting this issue resolved in the most effective and expedient way possible for everyone in the community.
All the best..
kds
