This is also extremely dangerous fir students during the school year trying to cross the street to geft to the bus stop or school.

Can we please have an update on this? It's been over 60 days

School has started and it has become a very busy area again. Can you please let us know about this area. The area really needs the painted cross walks and stop sign areas painted. With so many schools in this area, can you please help keep our kids safe.

Traffic Engineering's previously investigated for an all-way stop and the intersection did not meet state/federal criteria. We will re-open and check with PD on what they have for collision history over the past few months and re-evaluate the intersection for additional stop signs.

Traffic Engineering will coordinate with PD and investigate the intersection for additional controls/improvements. It will take a few weeks to get new counts and complete the analysis.

Traffic counters were out last week, but one of the recorders was stolen so they will be out next week to complete the count.

Any progress or is this another "dead" issue?

The intersection still does not meet the state/federal warrants to install an all-way stop sign. I will continue to monitor with our PD Traffic Section and request additional enforcement.

An impromptu traffic circle was attempted in this intersection. This really helped traffic flow coming off Stanford Drive in the morning as Mini Drive backs up to Boss Market with all the parents trying to drop their kids off. But the signs and yellow parking blocks have since been removed after somebody apparently came flying down Mini and crashed into them.

For a traffic study, one can sit out there from 0750 to 0840 on school mornings and witness how perilous driver behavior is.
