Newly planted tress had so support post, COV finest work!!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The area was inspected and it was found that the trees did not fail from being top heavy. There is evidence suggesting that both trees were struck by a vehicle traveling south bound on Glen Cove Pkwy. We have reached out to VPD to inquire if an accident report was filed or if this was a hit and run accident. We will work towards replacing the vandalized trees as soon as practicable.

Interesting that no other landscape was disturbed by an automobile and no tire marks in the median (especially given so much recent rain). But if you say so….

Tree debris and wood stakes have been removed.

Hope trees are replaced as quickly as debris was cleaned up.
