Theres no 24 hr, posted notice required. that only acity ordianance. the city doesn't follow those.

There was a posted sign on the remainder of the tree--to be fair to all. But, the sign was posted on the street side well of above eye level. A driver of a semi would see it but not pedestrians and not drivers in cars. I only saw it today because the rain loosened it from its staples and it was waving in the breeze. See photo. Opinion varies what the city ordinance requires. This was posted on September 3, twenty-five days before the tree was removed. You like trees then pay attention.

This stinks. This tree did block visibility for pedestrians and drivers but I don't know of any injuries related to its existence.
Closing as there is no resolution beyond documentation.
