It's terrible - people really just don't care and it's a problem because not only are there horseback riders but I run on these roads too and have almost been hit, there's hikers, bikers, walkers etc. Granted I can recall only a once I have flown up the road and it was an emergency at the farm with one of the horses. I do thank the people who slow down but it's just getting worse and really it has nothing to do with the 162 bridge being closed, people think "oh it's a short cut and I can just fly". There is just no respect for the people who aren't driving - also the faster they go the more it stirs up the dust, and stones and causes the potholes. And don't get me started on the stupid kids who think it's funny on rainy days to sit and spin their wheels in the mud causing "trenches" in the road.....

We have lived on Telegraph Road for 50 years . It was actually all dirt when we moved here. WE liked the area because it was quiet and we could take our children for safe walks and our dogs also . Now when I walk my dog , it is not a nice quiet walk , it is constantly watching for the speeding cars . I have been close to being hit by a small pick-up truck that actually veered toward me.It had plenty of room on the road to pass me safely. I sure do feel for the equestrians also . I am aware of how a horse can get spooked very easily . How fast are the poeple going to get ato their destination if they hit something ,be it a person,horse,dog ,deer etc . THINK ! Use your God given brain ! Even the school buses fly down the road ! I e-mailed Douglas Jones, the public works director of West Bradford Township,several years ago to ask for a speed limit be placed on Telegraph Rd . He never replied . I do my job ....I walk facing traffic , stay on the side of the road,but still feel unsafe anymore.

Pleaseeee post signs! These roads are so scary to drive/walk/ and especially ride horses down!
