This is an old commercial building- perhaps waiting to become condos- there is a faded orange sticker on the doors indicating that there is recent legal/permit activity of some sort. This building is located on the east side of 12th between Wood and Pearl streets.

Masonry is falling- the windows are broken (and falling) and the exterior fencing is not any sort of protection against the squatters. This building needs an L& I visit ASAP. It is an eyesore and a danger to passers by.

This building definitely will not be in compliance with Philadelphia Building Code- Property Maintainable code- PM-304.10 regarding safety of facade.

L&I has been there; DiCicco's office had been contacted months ago; the New York owners are aware of these issues, as are the realtors representing them.

I visited the site and it is dangerous for everyone passing on foot

Dangerous is an understatement. This eyesore needs attention soon.

Floors 8-10 are the worst

This building is dangerous. Broken glass and concrete fall down on a regular basis. It is also a complete eyesore and is a huge impairment to people moving and investing into the neighborhood. The building right across the street used to look exactly like that. But it got rehabbed, turned into condos that sold entirely. So why not this one?

Don't want to get my hopes up too high, but there are some signs of progress. The lower floors are getting the windows boarded up and this morning constructions workers were seen and heard inside.
