Same 'ol, same 'ol. Perhaps someday the municipalities/commissions will re-lay the road instead of just recycling the substrate and patching holes.

That's an MDOT road and I believe I heard them say that it's going to get properly resurfaced this coming season, so the patches that were done in the fall were just temporary fixes. That being said I'd encourage you and others who regularly use this road to contact the MDOT Lansing Svc. Center staff to complain about it & ask for an update:

I have both reached out to Kari Arend and MDOT in February and April. As we all know, Saginaw Hwy between Haslett and downtown Lansing remains to be treachery. Likewise, so does the majority of streets downtown Lansing. My Mini Cooper's suspension is totally shot...

Resurface 2 miles between Coolidge Rd and Hagadorn Rd, plus ADA upgrades. At least 1 lane open in each direction.

There remain to be 'rim killers' throughout Saginaw Hwy, especially the Frandor area.
