Description

The road surface was replaced due to the construction of CHOP east but the bike lanes weren't repainted green. This leads to massive confusion on an already congested and dangerous bridge. Biking both east & west are dangerous - cars frequently drive into the lane- but particularly while biking east down the bridge toward the light. Car drivers are constantly speeding up to cut off bikers or just not looking for bikes. The turn lane crosses the bike lane and car drivers who do slow down and wait for bikers to cross get honked at, zoomed around, etc. creating a very dangerous situation. This is compounded by the fact that the bike lane remains unpainted like the rest of the bridge. Someone is going to get seriously injured because of this intersection.
