Good morning we have a pile of garbage accumulating next to Smart & final the gentleman who lives in the encampment his name is Rick he allows garbage haulers to dump the garbage there for $20 $30 there is piles of garbage throughout the encampment the man Rick stays on the other side of grocery outlet there's about 8 piles of garbage behind the store pictures of him talking to the haulers before they dump their garbage I've had a couple of nonprofits that work in the area tell me that people in the encampment said to them that he has them dumped the garbage there because he knows the city will come by and pick it up something really needs to be done about him he needs to go it's a waste of our tax dollars and really everybody's just tired of seeing this garbage everywhere these encampments are allowing garbage haulers to dump their garbage for 20 $30 I also think that residents who hire these haulers be put on notice there are also causing this problem we have many haulers like Strong's calling and PJ's hauling that will work with residents better run a budget can you please send someone out to come get this garbage we have enough rodents running around in the parking lot as it is thank you

Good morning I have information for you on illegal dumping at the encampment next to Smart & final there is a gentleman named Rick that is allowing garbage haulers to dump garbage for cash in this area it was confirmed by a woman and encampment and confirmed by a nonprofit that works at this encampment he allows garbage haulers to dump garbage on the days that public works department will be by to pick up garbage I caught a garbage hauler last week trying to dump his garbage on the north side of the parking lot I told him to get the hell out of here I confiscated his cart that he was going to use to will the garbage to the back of the store I had a male employee throw the cart in the garbage this white truck is that the encampment daily everyone at this encampment knows what's going on and keep allowing it just encampment needs to be moved it's dangerous for us to be working next to this encampment there are drug crazy people walking in the parking lot I was already attacked with a drug crazed man with a machete at this point I am not comfortable coming to work especially not at 4:00 a.m. in the morning this is not safe for any of us i moved my daughter and myself onto a boat in a secure area to be safe coming to work is not safe so when I stop coming to work because this encampment is out of control in my anxiety is through the roof how am I going to pay my bills ? Is there funding for people like me in these situations there needs to be 😡 and I know it's not the public works department's fault they're doing their best I see them everyday they deserve a raise

They have 9 deep potholes on Irwin Street I visited the chaplain from post 550 American Legion Hall Susan Kroll she was concerned about the potholes and that an accident could happen because there are many elderly residents that live on that street someone used White spray painted and circled the potholes for they are visible to the elderly residents that live on Oakwood and Irwin I drove down Irwin and it is pretty bad I explained to her about C click fix and she will pass the link around to Residents in the neighborhood could someone go out and get the potholes filled please thank you

, drug activity drug use aggressive posturing these are not homeless people these are drug addicted aggressive people there are fights every day they're stealing our pallets on milk crates breaking into our Bullpen where we keep all our supplies they are in and out the grocery store stealing everyday they're aggressive to customers they need to be moved to another area and chain off area so they do not return I was physically attacked by a drug addict with a machete and he was already a convicted felon it's not safe for anybody in this area please move them to another area
