    Behind Winslow Post Office Bainbridge Island, Washington - Bainbridge Island
    I noticed graffiti painted on the side of the drive-through mailbox behind the Winslow Post Office some time ago. When in the post office a few weeks ago, I reported it to the clerk. It's still there. I realize that this is US Govt, and not COBI - but perhaps if "someone knows someone" it might be reported to the right person at USPS, and be rectified.

    Destitute/homeless group has moved to south corner of Waterfront Park. They have been there at least a day. Today, my daughter and friend were walking and had to stop. Off leash "bull-type" (her words) dog started to approach them, but they were scared and turned back immediately. Requesting official foot or other off-road patrol of this area, please.

    More carts of possessions on sidewalk every morning. Increasing numbers sleeping/camping overnight. Another member made a great suggestion, as this site is only monitored during the day. That member said the evening PD Commander needs to be asked to have area patrolled more frequently. Please call the Community Services Division of Vallejo PD and request this if you are concerned. This is getting worse. Again, I wish there was a designated safe area to where people could be referred if they needed overnight camping - rather than waste so much time/money just moving the groups from place-to-place.
