    The construction that is happening on the corner of Packet Landing and Robert Davey is having an extreme effect on the traffic in this area.

    Today I, along with Other Earhart Parents, endured a total of 50 minutes of waiting to leave Packet Landing Dr. after school drop-off. The impact this is having on parents attempting to get to work after drop-off is huge. Not to mention the Parents who are having to unload their children on Robert Davey Jr. Dr., because of being unable to gain access to Packet Landing Dr., unloading here causes unsafe conditions for the children. The only other alternative is for children to be late for school. I understand this is a “temporary situation”. I feel the parents have been more than accommodating since this construction has been ongoing for almost 2 years now.

    Is there a way to compromise with the construction company to start at 9am, once most of the Drop-off rush has subsided, or have the construction trucks of employees park on Robert Davey Jr. Dr. side of the site in the closed Bus Lane, allowing traffic to turn right instead of it being a single lane exiting Packet Landing Dr.

    The construction on Packet Landing has a worker truck that takes up 3 car lengths and blocks the left turning lane leaving the school area in the morning and afternoon is impeded by this lane being closed. The construction area is further behind to at least open this lane slightly. Not to mention the blocking of this fire hydrant. Please consider opening this turning lanes.
