I saw a different problem a few blocks south marked for repair, but it does not look like any action has or will be taken at this intersection. Any update?

I think this area is STILL being confused with another location on a separate issue. Can the area coordinator re-check the intersection of BelCul Court and Irish Lane in East Islip. This area keeps getting worse because it is right near the entrance to the Stop & Shop/Staples shopping center and there is a heavy volume of traffic through this area. As of now, it looks like no work will be done or scheduled to be done. Thanks!

It has been so long since the street was marked for repairs that the paint used has faded. What is the status of this repair?

Pavement repairs are scheduled for the above area for the 2011 pavement repair season. I personally spoke with the pavement inspector and he has estimated the repairs for mid July to August. I thank you for your continued patience.

Another 2 months have come and gone and the only repair made so far is a few new shovels of asphalt. The area was marked for an extensive repair months ago with white paint, long since faded. Any update as we are almost halfway through August?

The above location is still on the 2011 pavement repair list for this pavement season. The pavement repair season can go as long as Novemember, weather pending. As stated in the last comment according to the pavement inspector your estimated time of repairs are for mid July to August. Please keep in mind that all paving work is weather permitting and the heavy rains do delay the schedule. I thank you for your continued patience.

Yes, the hurricane did delay some roadway projects. Currently the above location is scheduled to be completed this month weather permitting.
