Description
The city shut down the homeless encampment under the freeway on Peralta and many people moved to the small Fitzgerald Park. They erected tents yesterday and slept overnight after park hours. They had multiple cars drive up honking horns and yelling at each other. The dumped large bags full of trash on the grass, dealt drugs people coming and going on bikes, their dogs fought and barked, they yelled all night, intimidated neighbors and played loud music and took over the table and chairs so no other member of the community can use for family, kids, dogs, etc. All of this on a tiny park about 1/2 a block long in a matter of a few hours.

10 guns by the homeless encampment tonight...very close and terrifying and we took to the flloor. Too many bad things happening there. The violence, the drugs sale, the prostitution, the garbage is discusting. Please something needs to be done ASAP....move the encampment, it is not safe and a public hazard.
