And nobody sees the "Not a through street" sign? Obviously not.

The Traffic Calming program has not been funded for a number of years, we are proposing to fund it again starting the 2019/20 fiscal year. If it is approved, we will be funding speed bump projects in the future.

Until then, Traffic Engineering will look into adding an additional "Not a Through Street" sign so vehicles in both directions of Fleming can see it is not a through street.

Good luck with that. We're having constant drivers speeding up and down our street and drivers doing donuts and nothing has been done. Calling the police does absolutely nothing! School a block away children crossing the street here almost getting hit and still nothing is being done. Stanford Dr and College Ave.

It’s been 31 days since my original post regarding excessive speeds on Lois Lane. The response from a city representative is, quite frankly, about what I expected. At least I tried to do something. If a serious incident does occur, it has been documented. It’ll be impossible to claim no knowledge of an existing safety issue. Very sad, but no surprise.

The traffic investigation included a review of the reported collision history for Lois Lane, and a search of the files showed no reported collisions in the last 10 years. As previously stated the City does not have a currently funded program to install traffic calming improvements, but we are proposing to reinstate the program in the proposed budget for next fiscal year.

To date the a second NO OUTLET sign has been added. While this has been a nice “effort”, it has done nothing to alleviate the problem. Sometimes mere statistics do not tell the whole story but are referenced to justify inaction. I do not regret bringing this issue to the fore, but given the state of the city, I should have known better.

I was notified by email that 181 days have passed since my request and denial for a speed bump on Lois Lane. A “NO OUTLET” sign has been installed, but that was not requested. Maybe, if we’re lucky, the street will continue to deteriorate creating larger potholes and slowing down the speeding cars that way. If signs seem to be the fix, possibly one that indicates “SLOW-LARGE POTHOLE”, will have an effect.

I was notified by email that it has now been 271 days since I first brought to the city's attention the need for a speed bump on Lois Lane. I'm not quite sure why I am receiving reminders that nothing is going to be done about the speeding cars on our street. Thanks for the update!!

It has been noted that 1,261 days has passed since requesting a speed bump on Lois Lane. Thank you for bringing to our attention, again, that nothing is going to be done to deal with our concerns. All the while abandoned cars, deteriorating streets, unabated trash, and CRIME continue to plague a city that I could once tolerate. I wonder how many people that are employed by the city and prioritize quality of life issues brought to them as a result of this forum actually live in Vallejo proper? My guess, NONE. The city must be getting dizzy by now chasing its own tail.

This concern has not been fixed.
