Description

Before developing this home, the land from the basement door of 4855 Kitty Hawk would meet 4845 Kitty Hawk and drain toward the street. Since breaking ground and adding the silt fence, mud has collected and formed an elevated wall of dirt that sits higher than it had previously. During a rain the water flows over that elevated dirt, through the silt fence, and toward the basement of 4855 Kitty Hawk Dr. The natural draining of this area cannot occur. I am afraid that a significant amount of rain will eventually end up in the basement of the adjoining property if this build up is not addressed.
