I second that. The light at martincoint and espola has been red to espola traffic constantly, even without cars on either direction of martincoit, and i drive that section 4 to 6 times a day.

The previously mentioned issues contine. Also, when a car is turning right from Goodeve, the traffic signal to turn left onto Espola or continue straight onto Martincoit can be triggered. Also, when a car is turning left onto Espola, the amount of time the light at Goodeve is green is far too long. These issues must be addressed before school starts - traffic was already bad during morning school hours at this intersection before the creation of the Farm, because Painted Rock is on Martincoit, and Espola goes to 1 lane on the east side of Espola.

Still consistent issue with this streetlight timing and is absolutely NOT a coordinated or “smart traffic signal” currently. This signal seems to get me every other time passing. Yes, this is a problem. Thank you to the OP for posting this. This intersection constantly gets a green light from Goodeve to Espola, even when no cars are present. C’mon City if Poway - we need action, not continued “thank you for your patience”.

Timing of this light needs to be addressed sooner versus later.

In complete agreement with all posters suggesting light directing Espola direction traffic is timed incorrectly to keep Espola traffic moving efficiently.

This issue remains unresolved. Traffic on both Espola and Martincoit is consistently disrupted, particularly during school dropoff and pickup hours, as everyone is forced to wait unreasonable amounts of time for non-existent vehicles to exit the Farm. Please fix this!

Like many who have already posted, I use this intersection several times a day, starting at 0500. Even at that hour, I have experienced delays and nonsensical traffic lighting. Please resolve this issue promptly.

Suggestion: Change the timing of the the malfunctioning sensor to show green to the largely non-existent Eden Grove "traffic" for the shortest interval possible, such as 5 seconds. This will allow perhaps one car to pass, but stop Espola traffic for less time.
NOTE: This is clearly a workaround to what should have been fixed weeks ago.

City of Poway Officials: Please provide a detailed status and plan to fix this issue, not just "Thank you for your patience." You have the Espola traffic volume data available to you to understand quantitatively the impact. The failure to correct this is impacting thousands daily is unacceptable.
