Description
Stop sweeping the road and just repave it. Sweeping makes the 4 inch cracks more prominent. There are pond sized potholes that have been filled and chip out within a month. Original road from 50 years ago. The time is now.

SUBJECT: ROADWAY REPAIR AND PRESERVATION PROGRAM
Dear Constituent:
The Pima County Board of Supervisors and the Pima County Department of Transportation (PCDOT) has identified $85 million for a road repair and preservation program for fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022 (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022). PCDOT and the Pima County Transportation Advisory Committee (PCTAC) developed roadway criteria for prioritization for the FY 2021/2022 program. Approximately 139 miles of arterials/collectors and 174 miles of local roads will be repaired and preserved as part of the program. The road repair plan for FY 2021/2022 is published on our website. To learn about the PCTAC, visit www.pima.gov/transportation and click on the Transportation Advisory Committee tab.
N. Marathon Drive, W. Newton Drive and N. Morning View Drive in the Rancho Verde subdivision are not included in the pavement repair program for this Fiscal Year 2021-/2022. However, PCDOT has a plan to repair all roads in unincorporated Pima County. Identification of roads to be repaired in future years will be completed once selection criteria is established with the PCTAC and budget amount has been determined for that year.
To learn about the pavement repair program and the road repair projects that are currently scheduled, please visit our Road Repair and Pavement Preservation Interactive Map at www.pima.gov/RoadRepairMap.
We will continue to respond to maintenance request such as pothole repair when needed. You may request pothole repair by using our service request application www.seeclickfix.com or by contacting us at (520) 724-6410.
Sincerely,
Pima County Department of Transportation
